The highly successful TV series from the end of 90ies was well-known for its darker moments - kink and sex were latent in the shows, but rarely explicitely shown.
A simple Google search produces a number of interesting essays about Buffy and sexuality - which proves the influence and relevance this series had for the audience while it was running.
I liked these two statements:
"BDSM and bisexuality both appear in Buffy and Angel as a very clear part of vamp sexuality."
"Though Buffy makes BDSM "visible", it does not endorse non-normative sexual practices; it can only do this because those engaging in SM practices are mostly presented as non-human”
In spite of the numerous seasons that were produced - both for Buffy and the spin-off series Angel there were never any spankings shown onscreen.
But there were quite a number of quotes and scenes directly linked to spanking.
This resulted in a very creative fan community obviously liking the darker side of the series and producing a lot of spanking content related to Buffy and Angel.

PS - I wouldn't expect you to have to do this because I would imagine it would take a very long time to do this, but have you ever notices just how many spanking references there are on "Scrubs?" Not just references, but actual spankings...especially with Elliot (Dr. Elliot Reid, played by Sarah Chalke...yes, she is a GIRL, for those who are not familiar with the show and may have been thrown off by the name) being on the receiving end.
