From the little I've seen, Maria now seems to be presented as an ass-kicker in indie wrestling. Prior to that, she and her partner, Penelope Ford were under the thumb of the wretched Rick Cataldo and partner, Eddy McQueen (known as "The Fella Twins").

In the first clip Maria is forced to kiss Cataldo's boot and then gets paddled in a very similar fashion to Sunny:

**The second clip seems to take place after Maria has broken away from the group, having to go up against the Fella Twins by herself. Consequentially, she receives a belt lashing from Cataldo** (Updated version with another forced foot kiss and more spanks!):
