Well the setting looks rather modern times despite all those people wearing cowboy hat / stetsons.
The wohle thing feels rather 1980ies to me, maybe a little earlier. Might even be a TV production.

I failed to identify it so far.
The scene could have been much better if even just one smack was seen landing, but it is filmed completely off-screen
