However, the sound just stops before the paddling begins - is it a problem with the upload (or my download?).

Sorry about that, I saw the scene when I was going through the episodes and threw it together before work. It doesn't help that when I edit, I never have the sound on because I'm usually listening to something else . That was how the video was uploaded to youtube and I guess no one ever let them know about the sound issue. I have another audio source from the daily motion upload, but the video quality isn't as good, it also doesn't sync perfectly to the other video, so I'll have to tinker with it. It'll be fixed soon.
