Walking Tall (1973)

The German title must rank pretty high in the stupidest German title changes ever - Der Große aus dem Dunkeln (The Tall One from the Dark).
Based on the life of Tennessee sheriff Buford Pusser, who almost single-handedly cleaned up his small town of crime and corruption, but at a personal cost of his family life and nearly his own life.
Not a movie to leave you happy and satisfied, but interesting for this page for a couple of scenes
- a couple of good-natured pats for Elizabeth Hartman (30)
- a not so good-natured smack for an unidentifed actress playing a hooker
- Wanea Wes performing the BDSM-esque song "Punish Me" on stage
- and a very nasty backwhipping scene for Lynn Borden (36). Just one whack is shown, but the wounds on the back are shown very explicitely.
Too bad, she's in perfect position for a butt whoopin' and he's using the right kind of strap for it as well! So it's a rather nasty affair.
