I watched the movie:
a) I did not find the scene from the stills, and
b) More problematic is that Jill Clayburgh has red hair in the movie; whereas, the stills are of Jill Clayburgh with blonde hair. She also looks younger in the stills.

I am curious if the spanking scene is in the book by Mary Clark Higgins by the same. Not so curious that I am going to read it.
