No room for love

A play by Anthony Marriott & Bob Grant dating frrom 1975. Known as Raum 12a in Germany
Dr. Garfield arrives at the moderately seedy Lawns Hotel hoping to spend a discreet weekend with his attractive receptionist Michele. Unfortunately, the orchestra in which his wife is the harpist is also visiting the hotel, making his excuse of a golfing excursion hard to sustain. In addition, the hotel's poor system of room registration results in a hectic evening for the Garfields, Michele, some young newlyweds, a horn player and his alcoholic wife, all of whom find themselves in and out of the bridal suite (and the bridal bed) and other rooms in a wild confusion of mistaken identities, furious confrontations and hectic misunderstandings. All this is complicated by a perfume-obsessed manager, a belligerent porter and assorted musical instruments.
