While this morning (below) I was in a hurry (and still half asleep) when I made the post, I now have managed to get the scene in top quality. After last week's threat this week's episode of Weeds did have a true spanking scene - and it exceeded my expectations by far!

The swats -- which number between 20 and 22, I can't keep track -- all land on M-LP's brief panties. Then, after the punishment, she sits, out of breath, with her skirt up around her hips, and we get a great view of her legs! Wow, she's 43 (same age as Maureen O'Hara in "McLintock"), and she is gorgeous.
I hope she wins the Emmy she is nominated for. She deserves it, if only for that sensational spanking scene.

Glad to see you've already posted a "deluxe" version. I'm just now downloading it so I can't comment yet.
I think 'Secretary' was a big turning point. Since then there's been a steady flow of scenes of varying quality and mainstreamness (Normal Adolescent Behaviour, Shoot Em Up, Sugar Rush, 5ive Girls, Californication) culminating in this one. Whether spankings on mainstream TV and movies will make a comeback is still an open question.
One thing for sure you would not have seen a spanking like this on old TV shows, her exposing those skimpy panties, spanking or not.
With the present style of wearing fewer clothes, spankings onscreen would be even more excited. Probably not panties-down, but might see someone spanked in a thong which would meet the barebottom requirement. And come to think of it booty shorts or micro-bikinis would work well too. I would have loved to have seen spanking on Baywatch or Charlies Angels , with some of their revealing attire.
