The board had been threatened before by a spanking website owner for spreading his material - although this happened only very occasionally. Mayhap someone else just stumbled upon it and reported it because he found its contents abusive. I found some of it rather disgusting too, but if you ignored the filth, the message board was a source for all sort of useful and rare finds on the web.
So it's bad news to start the year.
Mayhap I'll set up a replacement (with better rules and real moderation) if you are interested!

The reason that I think that the Spanking Facts and Research message board was shut down by Network 54 was probably because over the last month or so there was a seven fold increase in links dealing with children being spanking.
Perhaps the moderator will set up another site that monitors this type of material for closely.

SFR without the kid stuff (and, dare I dream, on a decent message board format, where you can actually post proper links, or even embed pictures and videos!) would be splendid.
I agree with previous posters that the juvenile stuff on SFR had become worryingly dominant of late. I still posted from time to time, and it was good for the some mainstream finds, but have no interest in 9yr olds getting birthday spankings.
