Special Feature: The Saint

The Saint was the nickname of the fictional character Simon Templar who was created by Leslie Charteris. Although Simon Templar was basically a (very talented) thief (often promoted as "The Robin Hood of modern crime"), the series was very popular and books were published in a span of 35 years, ending in 1963. But it didn't stop there - Simon Templar has since then also been active in motion pictures, radio dramas, comic strips, comic books and three television series.
In the 1999 movie "The Saint", the last bigscreen appearance of the character, Simon Templar was played by Val Kilmer.

But before him other popular actors, especially Roger Moore and Jean Marais, had appeared in this role.

Over the years there have been three scenes (I know of) related to spanking in the Simon Templar universe.
I've compiled those for you!

1962: "The Saint" - Episode "The Golden Journey"
There was a highly successful (six seasons) TV series based on the Simon Templar novels.
Later-to-be James Bond actor Roger Moore incorporated The Saint in this series.
In the very first season Mr Moore gets to spank Erica Rogers - I have posted this scene before, but now was able to create a much longer and high quality version of it for you:

1966: Le Saint prend l'affût (The Saint Lies in Wait)
French acting icon Jean Marais - who also got to dish out a spanking in another movie - played "The Saint" in this French movie from 1966.
His spankee was 23 year old actress Danièle Evenou.
I was able to locate an Italian version of this movie, so here's the scene for you:

1967: "The Saint" - Episode "To Kill A Saint"
In the fifth season of the TV series there is almost a spanking in the episode "To Kill A Saint".

Congratulations, Chross, clip number 2 I have never seen before, and I thought I had seen nearly all mainstream movie spankings prior to 1970

Unlike Richard, I can't say that I'd seen most mainstream movie spankings because my expertise is in comics, not cinema, so clip number 2 was most definitely new (and fun) for me. I do remember the TV series, and this was a fine scene. By the way, there was a Saint comic book, and there was a spanking in it as well (in issue #5)! I've got it in my collection somewhere, and will scan & post it when I find it.

I had never seen the "To Kill a Saint" clip. Good lord, that was sexy -- aborted spanking and all. And of course, the "Golden Journey" gets a 9 1/2 out of 10. It would have been a 10, had it not been for the cutaways to that stupid logcutter!

Yes that is a great collection of Saint's spanking there is one more aborted spanking that featured Roger Moore and i think the actresses name was Ann Bell anyway he took her over his lap 3 times in that one and never spanked her even once (pity) but she did indeed fit otk very well.

To Kill a Saint - perfect build-up. Such a tease! I loved her panicked reaction to his clapped hands. And there were still about three points after he first paused where he could've gone through with it..Alas.

Sorry about the waste of time. There was a contributor named will of the whisp that had shown it on spanking facts and research. It was one i stumbled on and all the information i had on it is now gone ( i lost my collection in a house flood) and it was that name that i thought i saw (but i did not think that it was in to kill a saint0 i thought it was another episode.)

There is one more spanking I recall in Roger Moore's Saint series, although it wasn't by him and was only a single otk swat of a spoiled kidnapped actress by a gangster. When she says "You hit me!" with utter shock, he shrugs and says "Sure, I hit lots of women."
Don't recall the name of the episode.
