We see "Tereza" giving a lecture and then a belt spanking to "Isabel" (her daughter?). The spanking itself is nothing special, but we should commend the film makers for creating this scene.
The director, cinematographer, film editor, and everyone else involved in this scene all deserve high marks for creativity. Why? Because the girl who gets the spanking was taking a shower, and thus is completely naked.
If this were a porno video, no problem. Just yank the naked chick out of the shower and do your thing. But it's NOT a porno, it's a mainstream TV show. So it's important to keep the girl as much "covered up" as possible. But HOW?
First, Tereza opens the shower door and -- with the camera focusing strictly on the girl's face and shoulders -- pulls her out. In the ensuing struggle, Isabel grabs a white towel to cover herself, and while it's enough to keep her vitals covered up, I wondered how the director would handle the spanking itself, since the girl's bottom is completely bare.
How? Here's how. Isabel is thrown onto the bed, face down, and the spanking proceeds on her naked tush... but what we see is that tush from the SIDE, which means we are not shown her naked butt-cheeks.
Now, in the spanko world there is nothing wrong with showing a girl's bare bottom. But this Brazilian TV show is NOT a spanko film, it's a mainstream drama, presumably appropriate for the whole family to watch.
So: Congrats to the director, the cameraman, and most of all to the two stars, for making the necessary adjustments to bring us a pretty good spanking of a naughty girl who is, essentially, completely naked... but WITHOUT showing the nudity.
Sorry about the length of this comment. Guess I got carried away. But seriously, this scene is awesome in its creativity.
