Well, this one feels like Benny Hill and the Carry On movies crashing headlong into the German sex comedies of the 70ies and taking the worst of every genre along the way.
Who said only the Germans could produce cheesy and lousy sex comedies?
Anyway, one of the characters, the squire is very much into spanking, which gives us a total of six(!) spanking scenes. Still the producers fail to make any of them appealing with the shower scene or the police officer crash spanking in the woods maybe the best of the lot.

Lieutenant Colonel John Brooks was a former army officer and Mayor of the London Borough of Kensington, and was also a successful solicitor based in Lincolns Inn Fields, Holborn, London.
He would use a carefully worded advert in the personal column of the satirical magazine Private Eye to make contact with young ladies, and offer them expenses paid evenings out and weekends away on his yacht.
Those responding who passed an initial telephone interview were invited for lunch where a small condition was explained to them. The colonel would be a gentleman and endeavour to be a charming and entertaining host…but if they gave him the slightest excuse… he reserved the right to give them a jolly good old fashioned spanking!
Unfortunately, the colonel’s hobby became public knowledge when shapely 20 year old Miss Susan Carr, who had elected to take up the colonel’s offer, decided to reveal all to The Sunday People. A sensational article of her experiences followed, insinuating that the colonel was operating a sex trap for young women to pursue his perverted purposes.
But Colonel Brooks was a spanko who was not frightened to stand up and be counted. He claimed the article was grossly exaggerated and defamatory and he sued them for damages.
In court, he mounted a spirited and entertaining defence claiming that he was not a pervert. One of his quotes reads like a spanko’s manifesto:
"I think that spanking a girl’s bottom – if she is willing and likes it and enjoys it – is simply part of fun. Provided it is with her consent, it is nothing more notorious than the Italian habit of bottom-pinching."
The case ran for six days and knocked all other news off the headlines. Newspaper stands sold out of some editions as commuters travelled to and from work with their noses glued to their purchases, all anxious to learn of the latest case developments. The finest legal brains in London argued among themselves as to whether the spanking of young females on their bare bottoms was a normal male activity or the activity of a pervert.
Comedians on TV told relevant jokes and cartoonists had a field day. As one newspaperman said: “This guy is just destined to sell papers. He is simply too good to be true” Another reporter stated that trying to get a seat in Court 26 was worse than trying to get opening night seats at Covent Garden! This cartoon comes from The Sun, and implies that the colonel might try to spank all the contestants in the upcoming Miss World competition!
Young Miss Carr was called to give evidence and told the Court that she had spent time with the colonel on his boat and that she had been spanked by him on her bare bottom, receiving about 30 slaps from his hand. Afterwards, she said, he had massaged her bottom with whisky which was supposed to ease the tingling and help prevent bruising.
After hearing all the evidence and legal arguments, the Judge decided that the newspaper article was indeed exaggerated and found in the colonel’s favour! Well, what else would you expect of a British judge?
This meant that the newspaper had to pay both side’s legal costs. On the question of damages, the colonel made legal history when the Judge awarded him the minimum possible – one penny, saying that “such was the colonel’s ego and character that he doubted very much that the publicity had adversely affected his reputation to any significant degree”.
Newspapers kept the band wagon rolling with humorous headlines like “Carry on Spanking”, and continued their search for the elusive Miss Carr and any other former companions of the colonel, no doubt with a view to printing further (if cautiously worded) revelations.
Although Miss Carr was described as a student at Manchester University, she appeared to have only recently registered with an accommodation address and information about her was somewhat sparse. After the trial there was some speculation (neither proved or disproved ) that she may have been part of team of investigative journalists employed by the defendant newspaper.

In the last scene the Squire catches up with the girl he hunts and puts her across his knee. The spanking is cut, but has actually happened / been filmed!
Olivia Syson watched as this scene was filmed, and later told a reporter: ‘Her behind was very red afterwards. She squealed a lot which means she probably enjoyed it.’
