This one is a bit confusing. I watched it as a movie, titled Submission (2016), IMDB has it listed as a mini-series, so at some point between 2016-2018, this series was re-cut as a feature film and re-released as American Kamasutra (https://letterboxd.com/film/american-kamasutra/) IMDB has no listing for the film version. It's another project riding that 50 Shades wave, but somehow less steamy.

A slow start, but still a 4 out of 5 for me.

Yeah, I don't know. It certainly seems like there should be. Unfortunately, I can't find the series to see if anything didn't make the cut to the feature.

I do have a series of films from the same director, which definitely contain some relevant scenes. I can't recall if they were any good or not, but they'll be making their appearance shortly.
