The story of Ann Lee who founded the Shaker Movement, but - despite rather modern principles in general- had some serious issues with sexuality in general. A movement that preached radical celibacy and declared sexual intercourse as the root of sin was obviously not bound for longtime success and became more or less extinct in the course of the 20th century.
