[Off-Topic] Whipping Scenes in Movies and Television Thread

I know, I know. There are a lot of whipping scenes already in the off-topic section. It's kind of like the bread and butter of the off-topic section... BUT, I have a fair amount of scenes that I want to post and I'd prefer to not clutter things up so much. So, I'll be migrating the existing whipping scenes I've posted, to this section, as well as adding all new ones here and keep the board a little cleaner.

I'm not much for rating things, but this is one of my favorite whipping scenes. I'd love to see an hd release for this film, but the dvd doesn't look bad. Brigitte Skay (29)

To follow up, Spiel mir am Glied bis zum Tod, which I was mislead into purchasing, by some still images 'from the film', the trailer for Die Papsttochter was not so misleading and Alina Lina (27) actually does get a few quick lashes. Odd that she is pictured being whipped in the other film and there is a whipping scene in this one.

aka Les trottoirs de Bangkok

Another one that needs a blu ray release. It's one of the very few noteable Jean Rollin films that hasn't been upgraded to BD (or even 4K at this point) but seeing as there is another release forthcoming, and it's DVD again , I don't know the likelihood of that coming to fruition. This won't be the last you see of Jean Rollin, but probably my favorite whipping scene by him. Even though it's completely shot from the front and it's dubbed in English in this version, there's just something about this scene... probably the fully nude actress (Yoko).

aka Requiem pour un vampire

Continuing on with Jean Rollin whipping scenes... In Requiem pour un vampire (Requiem for a Vampire) we find Marie-Pierre Castel (22) bound, hanging aoh and whipped by Mireille Dargent. This scene is featured on the cover of Kino's Redemption label release of the film, pictured below



Again, the execution of the scene isn't great as far as the whipping is concerned, but I still enjoy it. Plus, as a bonus, there is a nude and censored "clothed" version, which I always find interesting. The nude or fully intact version has a few cutaways to exterior shots, which I've edited out, to both match the cut down clothed version and save a bit of space as the file is huge .

This scene is worth all the time, to me
HD Upgrade for (english title) Spirits of the Dead (1968). This was literally the first DVD I ever bought (that DVD was unfortunately one of those pesky keepcase releases and has long since been destroyed by water damage), but luckily it then became one of the first blu rays in my collection.
There are 3 different clips. First is the HD version. Second is from an alternate cut, this scene is essentially the same, I don't see much difference in the shots when comparing them side-by-side, but I think I like the color grading more. Third is an excerpt from the trailer, which are some alternate shots, not in the final cut of the film.

Well, let's solve this "problem" with a new message board for the whippings

The movie that really kicked off my incessant renting movies from the local video store to try and find scenes. I won't go through my entire process back then, in the "just before internet age", it involved a sort of imdb in book form and a lot of guesswork that often led to disappointment and watching terrible, terrible films . So, with a name like House of Whipcord, there's really no guesswork involved, right? I mean there has to be at least one whipping scene in the film.
There are 2, sort of... . The first one is completely off-screen and really just serves as a warning of what will later happen to Penny Irving (32), who is our conduit into this nightmare. Even though neither scene is a work of bdsm art, the highlight of Penny Irving's scene, is the aftermath, where we see the extent the whipping she's received. Anyways, the movie still holds a special place of nostalgia to me. Truthfully it remains my favorite Pete Walker film (that I've seen) and is another one that has great cover art.

Those were sitting on my harddrive as well, but in much lower quality. They got one serious whip as a prop there an the marks are done expertly as well!
